2011 Conference and Meeting of the Society for Benefit-Cost Analysis

Expanding the Scope of Benefit-Cost Analysis: Practical Applications and Analytical Frontiers October 21–22, 2011 Washington, D.C.
This year, the fourth annual conference and meeting 'Expanding the Scope of Benefit-Cost Analysis: Practical Applications and Analytical Frontiers' continues the focus of past conferences on the practical use of benefit-cost analysis (BCA) in a variety of institutional and national settings. This year, special attention will be given to the role of BCA in both prospective and retrospective program evaluation; and to broadening and improving measurement of benefits and/or costs. This conference will serve as a forum to bring together scholars, practitioners, and students spanning all sectors. It will feature presentations of cutting-edge benefit-cost analysis scholarship. I will be presenting a paper on "The role of BCA in EU decision-making" in a panel carrying the same title that I've put together with Elisa Vecchione at SciencePo. The program is available here. |
